The Camp Starlight 9^th Grade boys basketball team held off a furious comeback by Wayne in a first round Wayne County Tournament game.  Hunter A led the Starlight squad with 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Kyle G led the offense effectively with 7 assists.  Starlight quickly jumped out to a 12-4 lead early in the 2^nd quarter and eventually extended it to 31-20 early in the 4^th quarter using a high-powered fast break attack and ferocious offense putbacks.  The Wayne squad cut the lead to two points with just a few minutes to go but Lance G and Daniel P sealed the game with clutch free throws at the end.
